Terms & Conditions
Catch up lessons can not be given but once every 12 months with a terms notification you can have 1 weeks holiday off without a payment for that missed lesson being made.
Refunds will be given in exceptional circumstances but once you sign up for a term the days and times are fixed.
An exceptional circumstance for example would be a long term illness needing surgical treatment, meaning no contact with water, injuries needing several months recovery, a family member passing away.
No refunds will be given if your child has a week they refuse to get in the pool or have a change of heart to attending lessons. Alternatives days and times may be given if available but this can't be guaranteed.
Under no circumstances do we offer trail sessions, so once you have paid for the term you will need to attend the lessons you have booked unless we can accommodate a different day and time that also suits you, again this can not be guaranteed.
ALN sessions once booked you have paid for the sessions and we expect these to be attended. For no reason can a refund be given unless for long term illness or injury, but this is at the discretion of Ace Swim School and would need a doctor's note to state they can not attend lessons and for length of time, this must be 6 weeks or more to qualify
If your child have D&V or yourself as an adult swimmer you must be 48 hours clear of your last episode before attending a lesson.
If yourself as a swimmer or your child have a fever, generally feeling unwell and under the weather please do not attend your lesson. If no fever is present and just a snotty nose we are happy to have you attend classes.
Please do not disturb teachers on poolside, leave a message with pool receptionist to call you in working office hours or the next working day or message us on class4kids.
Please don't photograph your child on poolside/in pool.
No abusive, rude or aggressive behaviour will be accepted towards staff and if this happens we reserve the right to cancel membership for the term with no refund being given.
Any cancelled lessons due to staff illness or shortages will always be reimbursed next term and no lessons will ever be lost.
Please don't question a teacher over why they are teaching something that they taught two weeks ago as with swimming it is repartition that helps a child learn this complicated skill.
Children will be assessed every 2 half terms and an individual report given for each child and what has been achieved over the 10 to 12 weeks and what will be worked on next.
Badges for distance awards are chargeable at £3 per badge.
If we feel we can not keep everyone safe and give a quality lesson due to.staff absences we will cancel classes rather than run them.
We request that you try as much as possible to not contact us past 7pm in the evening and contact in office hours wherever possible.
Please make sure all children go to the toilet before lessons start so we don't need to disturb the class.
This list isn't exhaustive and can be added to at any time, if needed.
